Founded in 1998, Dexterity Technologies - EzGrip has been an integral part of healthcare and consumer fields. Dextek has worked with a wide range of consumers and medical persons concerned with writing and working with small tools in repetitive tasks - lab persons working with scalpels, microelectronics and small parts manufacturers carefully assembling and detailing miniature products. Our objective has always been to produce products that actually work the way the individual does the flexibility to use the way they prefer. Ezgrip can accomplish comfort and satisfaction for the user. Simplicity! Our consumers being part of any field of work or personal needs, EzGrip has been proven to be an exceptional and simple everyday product. We enjoy the side-by-side comparisons of the proven advantages.
WE BEGAN BY HELPING PERSONS WITH EXTREME NEEDS.
WE THEN REFINED OUR PATENTED PRODUCTS FOR SIMPLICITY AND GENERAL USE.
-- CREATED SIMPLICITY & COMFORT - IN WAYS NO OTHER PRODUCTS CAN PROVIDE!
-- EZGRIP ELIMINATED 90%+ OF EXISTING HAND PROBLEMS.
-- PROVED THEIR CAPABILITY THOUGH CLINICAL AND CONSUMER STUDIES
EzGrip was originally designed for persons with spinal cord & other severe injuries.
With our patented product, they could hold their own utensils - eat independently, write or work with their artist brushes. They could not do these things on their own before EzGrip without a strap-on grip product.
We worked with Occupational Therapists that are Certified Hand Specialists - OT/CHT's They proved it! The products were seen for their positive overall capability - not just for their specialization.
The original larger shapes were reduced to a simple grip shape. They could be used to advantage by anyone. Individuals have their own way of writing or working. Some get tendonitis or cramping, some arthritis or tennis elbow - many variations... What's unique, EzGrip can neutralize most any discomfort. It is adaptable to the individual. In simple terms - you now hold and use a telephone pole type instrument to work or write. You squeeze and push down with three fingers. Instead, EzGrip adapts to a way you prefer - and no constant squeezing or pressure needed. It can take only one finger to use, if desired.
Students, nurses, sales persons, note-takers, accountants, attorneys, teachers, artists and all those that use or tested the EzGrip --- the Cleveland Clinic, Today's Health & Wellness Publications Testing Group, CHT/OT's - Hand Therapists, The Arthritis Foundation --- have proven it.
We have the ability to adapt EzGrip products such as the grips for specialty uses. Dental and surgical tools, for example, have been produced to fit instruments and provide sterilization and for use in clean rooms. Grips have been produced for microelectronic parts and small part assembly units requiring low ESD properties.
EzGrips are being adapted for many uses.
